I’m not sure I’ll be able to write when I get home, so I’m doing this on the office/storage closet computer which means it’ll have to be short with no pictures.
Elizabeth was hard. The end.

The mental battle was rough on me for this one. I wasn’t even sure I could squat clean 135lbs even though I remembered later that I could front squat 200lbs.
It was messing with my head. I started thinking, “but you have to do 45 of them.” This hippo almost headed for the waters to hide.
Then I saw David and Tom load up 135 and I knew I couldn’t mess with less. (hippo roar)
Side note: Olympic lifting shoes really do make a difference. Save up for them if you don’t have a pair.
Yea this one was mental. We all knew we could do it, but we knew it would hurt. Thats what I love about crossfit. It teaches us to push past the mental barrier and accomplish something that seemed impossible.
I have been relatively unhappy with my performance these last few weeks, feels like I’m hitting a plateau. Luckily, I’ve been reading the journal a lot and came across a great article called “The Hard Routine.” http://journal.crossfit.com/2008/05/the-hard-routine-by-jason-doug.tpl
Awesome article, great concept. I think this would be easier with multiple people, so the question is who’s with me?
