Round 1 of the Clean Eating Challenge
Today is the day for showing what you’ve eaten in the last seven days. If you’re unsure how to post your food journal, follow this link, or go to the link CFTacoma Group on the sidebar.
When you post, please include your name and the dates covered in the subject line. “My food journal” is a spectacularly unhelpful subject. “Morgan’s journal Jan 10 to 17″ is better.
Including your own reflections about your eating is a good idea, but only if they are quality thoughts. “My diet sucked this week,” is not very useful. Get specific. Identify something you did well and an area where you can improve upon. “Breakfast was easy, but I get hungry by 10:30 and go to the cafeteria where the only options are fries or bagels,” is a great observation.
Make a point of browsing other people’s journals- you will undoubtedly learn something in the process. Also try to add your comments to other people’s journals. Ask for recipes, point out what you liked about what they did, give feedback to their thoughts. The more we share and comment, the better.
If for some reason you are absolutely unable to post today, you have until the “Do or Die” deadline Monday at 12 noon. If you don’t post, or are woefully incomplete, then you take a pass for the week. Remember that you only get one pass for the whole CEC. More than one failure to track food or post equals disqualification.
