Dead Arm

First, doing handstand push-ups with hands on plates, touching head to floor is waaay harder to do than regular handstand push-ups.  Which is funny because HSPU’s are stupid hard to begin with.  After doing heavy Cleans the Thrusters almost felt light.  Then again, after all that, your shoulders were so tired that Burpees were tougher than normal.

Finding a balance of movements and weights and reps in a workout is an art.  Sometimes they all line up perfectly to challenge you in a new and effective way.  Other times they line up to beat up on some unsuspecting body part.
