Paddling

I really enjoyed the warm up drill today on the rower. We emphasized the stroke length as well as power and tried to slow down the stroke rate. Whenever I see someone on the rower with short, choppy strokes and rapid cycle times I get the image of a hamster on a wheel. Does he realize he’s not going anywhere?
Every time a workout gets close to or past the 20 minute range a lot of complaints seem to come up. Morgan said that Joe was a curse word today during the overhead lunges. Who else besides me actually likes the longer met-cons? Anyways, the rest of the week should be easier. Actually, I lied. Just shorter, not necessarily easier. Emmi snagged the green box for the second day in a row today, and Pat S seems to be in a league of his own lately. Less than four weeks until sectionals, stay healthy everyone. Lets not have any last minute injuries or illness.

Welcome back Marcel.
Marcel has lost around 30 pounds since he last trained with us by cutting out grains and sugars and applying some intermittent fasting.
No measuring, no obsessing about calories, just ate good quality food and his body changed.
This stuff works.
Now I’m looking forward to the epic head-to-head battles between Marcel and Peter they used to have.

Joseph, you are the Man! This is the 1st time I’ve ever RXed in a workout. And 2 days in a row. Am I getting stronger or what?

Congrats Emmi. I am actually sorry I missed this workout. Maybe I will do something crazy and come 2 times in one day later this week to do it.
